"Not Vampires, We Swear It"

Films: Castle of Blood (1964)

Alias: Elizabeth Blackwood, Julia, Dr. Carmus

Type: Mystical

Location: Haunted Home

Height/Weight: That of an average human being.

Affiliation: Neutral, leaning on Evil

Summary: When it comes to castle Blackwood, no one gets in or out. But mostly out. The ones who do-oh, wait, no one has. Well then.

History: Anyone who can stay in Lord Thomas Blackwood's supposedly haunted castle for an entire day will get 100 dollars. Sounds easy, except no one has come back alive. Then a guy says that he'll stay for a day for only ten bucks. Cocky? Yes, and potentially fatal when it comes to the many spirits there who cannot survive without his blood.

Notable Kills: See Final Fate.

Final Fate: The ghosts seem to fail to get the man, and dissipate into skeletons. However, their forces cause the gate to impale the man through the neck, ensuring he joins their ranks. He doesn't seem to mind.

Powers/Abilities: Total invunerability.

Weakness: They are tangible unlike most ghosts, and without blood, they will ascend to the next life.

Scariness Factor: 2-Honestly, there's little these guys do to truly nip it in the bud getting blood. Though that might have had something to do with one of them being played by horror beauty queen Barbara Steele.

Trivia: -Due to a poor box office performance, the director would remake this film in 1970 as "Web of the Spider".

-Despite being credited as being based off a short story from Edgar Allen Poe (even starring his character in the film proper), there is no story by the guy related to this film in any way.

"TOO MUCH BLOOD! OKAY?!"

Pretty faces in a haunted house=obviously ghosts.
The blood going to be rushing to my legs if I get here.

Get your minds out of the gutter. A murder is about to take place.
These are, indeed, the damned.

A little healing will fix this ridiculous look.
